Benefits Open Enrollment begins Jan. 10, 2011

The Fresno Unified School District’s Joint Health Management Board (JHMB) has announced that Benefits Open Enrollment will take place Jan. 10-March 11, 2011. And while Benefits Open Enrollment shares many features with enrollments in years past, this year’s enrollment will be different for two reasons:

First, and for the first time ever, the Fresno Unified School District will offer two distinct medical plans for its plan participants – a revised standard plan called ‘Option A,’ and an alternate plan called ‘Option B.’

Second, with the availability of two medical options, FUSD plan participants must make a choice between the two plans. With this choice in place, the JHMB strongly encourages all plan participants to take advantage of the Benefits Open Enrollment process, so they can make the best choice for them.
