Eating a healthy, balanced diet accompanied by regular exercise is essential in maintaining physical and mental health and well-being. Together, these can help decrease a person’s risk of developing serious health conditions, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and cancer. Healthier lifestyles are also associated with improved sleep and mood. Physical activity particularly improves brain-related function and outcomes. Check out some of the healthful resources below to help you get fit, stay fit, and eat well.
