WellPATH 2026 Back to Balance Challenge
Six-Week Challenge, September 22 to November 2, 2026
The WellPATH Back to Balance Challenge will be tracked through the Be Well app!
Registration For Our Next WellPATH Challenge Opens Tuesday, September 8!
This six-week challenge is here to guide you in taking the time to reestablish routines and find your balance. Get organized, build consistency with fellow participants, and start the new school year with clarity and confidence. Each day, you should strive to meet the program goal of 7,500 steps per day (either through walking or other activities) in order to win a prize. This is a challenge all about getting back on track after a break, and building a balanced routine of activities to ensure you’re living your best life.
This challenge will take place on the Be Well app—make sure you download it so you can start tracking your steps, sleep, and mood to compete!
Challenge Structure
Participants will track their daily movement through steps and/or other activities through the Be Well app. You will receive credit each day for earning 7,500 or more steps, and if you earn an average of 7,500 steps per day at the end of the challenge period, you will qualify for a prize.
In addition, this is a Map Challenge, wherein participants will be able to see their progress locations, along with those of their peers, all on the same map and leaderboard. Please note that other participants’ locations on the map and leaderboard do not affect your eligibility to win a prize. As long as you are achieving the goal of 7,500 steps per day, then you will receive a prize regardless of where you finish on the leaderboard.
Who Can Participate?
Active employees, spouses, domestic partners, dependent children age 12 and over, early retirees (defined as retired individuals under age 65 and not eligible for Medicare), and retirees covered under the District’s health benefit plan are eligible to participate in the WellPATH Employee Wellness Program and this seasonal challenge.
