If you have medications that have been impacted by recent national drug shortages, the Joint Health Management Board has good news. Currently, PPO Plan A and B members impacted by a shortage of certain medications can now obtain refills 10% earlier. For example, on a 90-day supply, you would be able to obtain your refill nine days earlier. This provides additional time for you to find a pharmacy that has the medication in stock, or to obtain an alternative prescription.
