New JHMB HealthConnect Website: Your Guide to Your Health Insurance Benefits



As a District employee, retiree, spouse, or dependent, you are entitled to certain benefits, and the new Joint Health Management Board HealthConnect website is designed to help you understand and use those benefits. Whether you have questions about your PPO or HMO plan, your dedicated Medicare plan, specific benefits on vision or dental, or telehealth services, HealthConnect will point you in the right direction, supporting you on your journey to better health and wellness.

Why We Updated the Website

Our goal was for HealthConnect to serve as the centralized digital hub for all JHMB and FUSD benefits-related information and communications. The new site connects you with the appropriate resources for your needs through an intuitive user experience.

As an employee, you can look up and search for any detail about your plan, whether it’s your deductible, whether orthodontia services are included in your dental plan, or what WellPATH benefits you receive as an employee.

As a retiree or dependent, you don’t need to sift through the complicated jungle of information before figuring out how your benefits work. Simply head to the dedicated sections of the website that clearly explain how to navigate your coverage.

How to Use the New HealthConnect Website

You can reach the new website at You’ll be greeted by a refreshing home page that is dedicated to making you feel comfortable as you look up or learn more about your benefits.

On the home page, you can:

  • Get the information you need whether you’re a full-time employee, part-time employee, retiree, or dependent
  • Access member resources through our Help Center
  • Read through the latest news about your health benefits
  • Learn more about JHMB
  • Sign up for our email newsletters highlighting any changes and updates to your coverage and benefits

You can view information about your plan, your benefits, and WellPATH.

Search for Your Plan Info

Clicking on “Your Plan Info” in the main menu brings you to our Plan Portal, where you can learn or look up any part of the plan you enrolled in.

Our health plans are organized by whether you’re a full-time employee, part-time employee, retiree, or dependent. Each section gives you the relevant plans and all the highlights, details, features, included benefits, and voluntary benefits you may be enrolled in.

Search for Your Specific Benefits

If you’re just looking for a specific benefit, such as PPO, HMO, prescription, vision, dental, or supplemental benefits, click on “Your Benefits” on the main menu of the website.

Improve Your Wellness with WellPATH

Click on “WellPATH” on the main menu for links and information about your WellPATH benefits. WellPATH, provided by HealthConnect and included as part of your District employee insurance benefits, is designed to help you actively engage in your health and well-being through education, wellness activities, and resources that support healthy lifestyle choices.

View the WellPATH calendar, list of activities, and even learn how you can make a difference by promoting healthy WellPATH activities and programs at your worksite.

Get Assistance with Your Benefits

Explore your benefits, locate a network provider, look up contact information for health insurance carriers and program providers, and ask a question through our Help Center, accessible through the main menu.

Become a WellPATH Champion

I agree to represent my school/department as the Wellness Champion for this school year. I understand the outlined roles and responsibilities of the Wellness Champion and will assist in the implementation and coordination of wellness initiatives. I agree to not only support the WellPATH Employee Wellness program by my participation, but to collaborate with my local management team to support the initiatives as well. I understand that the success of the program hinges on all employees being empowered to make informed decisions that positively impact their health. The WellPATH program can count on me to be a messenger and motivator and to help gather information from my co-workers, principals and managers to help foster a culture of wellness within Fresno Unified School District that supports good health.

I also understand that I may be asked to assist in scheduling rooms and programs (including wellness screenings, seasonal influenza program) at my location, displaying WellPATH brochures, posters, etc. in appropriate areas, and encouraging my co-workers to be involved in the WellPATH Employee Wellness program.
