If you receive a phone call from LucyRx about International Pharmacy options, you can feel confident that it is a legitimate part of your prescription benefits.
LucyRx is reaching out only to members who take certain eligible brand-name or specialty medications. Because only a small number of medications qualify for this program, most PPO Plan A and Plan B members will not receive a call.
Why am I being contacted?
If you’re eligible, a LucyRx team member may contact you to explain how the program works and answer your questions.
The International Pharmacy program is designed to help lower prescription costs while maintaining the same medication prescribed by your doctor. Eligible medications are sourced through licensed, trusted pharmacies outside the United States—most commonly in Canada.
Is this a scam?
No. This is an official program offered through your LucyRx prescription benefit and Fresno Unified School District health plan.
If you are contacted by LucyRx about this program, you can expect:
- A brief conversation about your eligible medication(s)
- Information about how the program works
- Assistance with enrollment if you choose to participate
- Coordination with your doctor and pharmacy
- Secure home delivery of eligible medications
Your personal health information remains protected and is handled in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Participation is voluntary, and not all medications are eligible.
What should I do?
If LucyRx contacts you about the International Pharmacy program, you can answer the call knowing it is a legitimate outreach related to your prescription benefits. The team member will explain the program, answer your questions, and help you determine whether participation is right for you.
If you do not receive a call from LucyRx, no action is needed. Only members taking eligible medications will be contacted.
