Important Update for PPO Plan A & B Members
The Joint Health Management Board is notifying members enrolled in PPO Plan A or PPO Plan B that support for the virtual physical therapy program through SimpleTherapy will end effective October 1, 2026.
If you currently use virtual SimpleTherapy, or were considering using the program, please review the information below to understand how this change may affect your benefits.
What’s Changing?
Beginning October 1, 2026, Â the virtual SimpleTherapy program will no longer be supported under the benefits of PPO Plans A and B. This means:
- The virtual SimpleTherapy program is being discontinued as a supported benefit.
- Services provided on or after October 1, 2026, will not be available.
- Members currently participating in the program should plan to complete any covered services before the termination date, if applicable.
What Isn’t Changing?
This change applies only to the SimpleTherapy virtual physical therapy program.
Your Chiropractic and Acupuncture benefits are not affected and will continue to be available according to your health plan benefits.
